Executive Insight partners with One Family Health to secure sustainable funding in Rwanda
Today, Executive Insight celebrates the culmination of our partnership with One Family Health in Rwanda. For two years, Executive Insight has been supporting One Family Health (OFH) in its mission to make primary care more accessible to underserved communities.
OFH plays an important role in bringing healthcare closer to rural communities Rwanda. They have 110 health posts owned and operated by skilled nurses and around 300 staff working at village level. This approach significantly reduces walking time and thus improves access to crucial, often lifesaving healthcare services and essential medicines.
However, OFH were having difficulty in articulating their efforts to stakeholders with clarity. Executive Insight stepped in and leveraged our expertise in healthcare and consulting to support OFH in tracking and communicating their performance by:
- Defining a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to help OFH quantify the impact
- Sending a member of staff into the field to pilot the MobiQube app used to collect these KPIs and train nurses how to use it
- Developing the concept for a dashboard to automate KPI analysis
- Developing a reporting template to present the results in an intuitive and appealing way
The partnership was a success and our work has already improved OFH’s chances of securing sustainable funding. Watch a short video to see how we made an impact here.
“Many thanks for taking up the challenge to help us build a stronger organisation with hopefully a much larger funder partner group allowing us to accelerate our expansion and our capabilities in market.” Gunther Faber, CEO One Family Health.
Our partnership with One Family Health has been a great opportunity for Executive Insight to translate our values into action. We were able to gain valuable insights into the frontline of healthcare in the developing world and leverage our experience where it could make an impact on the lives of people in underserved communities.
